My scales hold the blue of creation and the fire of dying stars. Once, bored with the future’s dull shine, I set my time machine for the Jurassic Period.
I popped into existence amidst giant horsetails, startling a massive T-Rex. Poor thing, it tripped and fell right into a tar pit. I’d gone and rewritten history! With a sigh and a flick of my tail, I rewound five minutes, gave the beast a mental nudge to watch its step. Crisis averted. The timeline was safe. Next stop, I thought, somewhere quieter. The invention of the wheel, perhaps.
